For 2010 Manchester Speeway will be having a Local Points Series Consisting of 8 races. Race #4 will be a Mid-Season Championship Money Race, and Race #8 being a Championship Money Race .
At the end of the Points series, 7 out of 8 races will be counted for Series-ending points. Entries running in all 8 races will recieve 50 extra bonus points. The lowest scoring event Per class will be automatically Dropped, even if that Lowest Score is 0 for a race not run. The only Points that Cannot be dropped are negative points awarded as a result of a disqualification.
Must have run atleast 6 of 8 races to be eligible for year/series ending Awards/Prizes.
In the event of a Partial Rain-out, if Heat races have been completed, points will be awarded by heat race finishing order. If Heat races are not completed, 200 points plus the number of entries will be awarded to everyone.
Pit/Spectator Passes will be the same price as normal race nights with staring times being the same as regular race nights.
All calsses will be competeing for points.
Entry-Fee for all classes will be $30
Entry-Fee Break Down: $10- Goes to the end of the series Awards/Prizes.
$10- Goes to the drivers entered classes Mid-season and Championship Money race purses,
$10- Goes to the drivers entered classes end of the night Payback purse (100% payback on this $10 for 1st-3rd.)
The Following Dates are Local Points Race Dates
May15th- 1st points race rain out -make up at a later date
June 5th- Race #2
July 10th-Race #3
August 7th- Race #4
Sept. 18th- Race #5 Mid Season Championship Money Races (Must run a minimum of 2 Local points races prior to this race to be eligible to win extra purse money at the end of the night.)
October 2nd- Race #6
October 23rd- Race #7
Champion-Ship Money races. (Must run a minimum of 6 of the 8 Local points races prior to this race to be eligible to win extra purse money at the end of the night.)
On the Mid Season Champion Ship and The Champion-Ship Race If a Competitor Shows up and Wins, but hasnt been there for the required amount of points race to recieve extra Money put forth by the Competitor's in a class out of the EntryFee money from each race. That Competitor will recieve 1st places normal payback but the Extra purse money will go to the first highest finishing Competitor that has been at the required Amount of points races to be eligible to recieve the Extra purse money put forth by the Competitor's in a class out of the Entry fees from each points race.
