ANYONE CAUGHT ENTERING THE PITS WITHOUT A PIT PASS, WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THE TRACK.
Parent or Guardian Must be Present to sign waiver release form for anyone under 18 yrs. old.
We have OUR Own Track Rules but run W. K. A. Rules for the motor and kart, and AKRA engine rules only on the clone motors(with the exception of the clutch and header) .
This will allow the karter to be able to race at any track.
WE ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH OR SANCTIONED WITH W. K. A.
These rules will be strictly enforced!!
THE FOLLOWING THINGS WILL RESULT IN SUSPENSION FROM TRACK.
In the event someone is aked to leave/suspended from the track and they refuse to leave quietly and calmly, Local Law Inforcement may be called if needed.

2. No rough driving. If rules are not obeyed, drivers will be disqualified or suspended from track.
3. Chain guards- All chain, or gear-driven karts must be equipped with a chain, or gear guard designed to retain a broken chain, or gear. Outboard drive systems will be allowed only if the chain and sprockets are completely enclosed from front, top, and outside. You will be allowed one time to put your chain back on before the first green flag falls after that you are out of that race.
4. Do not stop on racing surface. Always pull, or coast out of harms way.
5. No pit crew members allowed on track during races. This will result in disqualification.
6. If your kart stops running, do not get off (or out) of your kart. Do not stand on the track. Coast off track surface, out of the way. Same applies if your chain comes off. Do not get out of kart until told to by a track official.
7. NEVER remove your helmet while on the track.
8. Must use hand signals while on track when slowing on back stretch to exit track.
9. No riding through the pits. If caught, you will be disqualified. Shut off kart as leaving track surface.
10. Weights- Non structural weights added to meet minimum kart/driver weight requirements must be bolted securely to the kart using bolts of at least 5/16" in diameter. Weights in excess of 7 lbs. Must use two or more 5/16" bolts. All bolts must be cotter-keyed or double nutted. If weights fall off they become property of the track. Weights must be painted white or of some type of highly visible color and have kart # on them.

Oils- must be as produced from distributer no additives allowed in oil this will be a tech item also.
Accidents
Karts involved in an accident will be required to stop for inspection by track officials. If motor dies or chain comes off, you are out of that race. If karts are locked together by piggy backing, the kart that gets piggy backed will get their motor restarted or chain put back on, and gets his or hers position back. If karter that piggy backed, chain is off or motor is not running, he/she is out of that race. If still in race, you will be lined up in the rear. When 2 karts are locked together, track officials must hear and see motor running. If track official is pulling karts apart and motor dies, you will be restarted. Must always try to keep motor running. If race is red flagged, adjustments of any kind on equipment is not allowed.
Kart rules
1. Must have kart number on both sides of kart, front, and rear, and a minimum of 5.5" in. tall must be readable at all times.
2. Crankcase breather tube must be attached to catch can.
Race Procedures
1. You will be lining up during the race before yours.
2. You will have one 1 minute from the time the last kart leaves the track to get started. At the end of the 1minute mark the entrance grid will open and karts will enter the track. As karts come back around and pass the entrance grid, this will also give you a chance to enter the track if for some reason you had trouble getting started, but you will lose your position and must line up in the rear. After all karts pass entrance grid, the grid will close and no one will be able to enter the track.
3. If you attempt to pass any karts in front of you before the green flag drops, you will not get the green flag. FLAGMAN STARTS THE RACE.

k
2009 Track Rules: Page 2
4. The pole kart sets the pace at a slow, even speed. Speed will be determined by the flag man. Too high a speed will carry 2 warnings. If you do not obey, flagman will decide how to start race. No pushing on starts.
5. There will be NO PUSHING ON THE STARTS, If caught you will receive 1 warning with Rolled Black Flag, second time you will be sent to the rear. This will help stop wrecks on starts. Racer being pushed does not have total control of kart.
6. After entering track, you will have two laps before green flag, front row must be even to start race. Green flag starts the race at flag stand. Race has started.
7. There will be no double file restarts. There will be one try at double file start. If not able to start on first try, we will go to single file original line up. After one to go notice is given, either on double file initial start or single file complete restart, no restarting karts engine allowed.
8. In the event of a CAUTION, the field will be frozen, everyone involved in wreck or spin out will go to the rear. If you spin out to avoid a wreck, straighten yourself up and get back to flag stand, at caution speed, that is where you will be scored.
As everyone comes out of wreck, this is where you will be scored into the back of the lead lap field.
THIS RULE WILL HOLD FIRM WE HAVE 3 SCOREKEEPERS KEEPING SCORE AT ALL TIMES.
WE DO NOT GO BACK TO LAST COMPLETED LAP, the reason for this is if you pass 3 karts on back straight away and there is a caution, and we went back to last completed lap, you would have to pass same 3 karts again.
9. There will be no passing under caution. If caught passing you will be sent to rear. No racing back to the flag stand under caution! Beware of caution lights.
10. Rough driving will not be tolerated you will receive 1 warning and the second time you get caught automatic disqualification.
In the event that a driver is preparing to lap another competitor, the driver of the over taken kart is obliged to give way and allow the lapping kart to pass. A driver may always be prepared for another kart to pass and must, therefore, be on look out for the approach from behind of other faster karts. The deliberate blocking of faster karts, is cause for disqualification.
When 2 karts are entering a turn the kart that is behind, whether it be an inch or several feet, is required to negotiate the turn with out endangering or impairing the progress of the kart in front. Conversely, the kart in front should not take deliberate line of course for the purpose of crowding a following competitor off the course.
Race procedures
rule 10 continued
In the event that there are 2 karts coming out of the corners side by side and the outer kart spins off the track we will have corner marshals on the outside of the track watching for this and if they report back to the flag man that the kart on the inside crowded the outside kart off the track, both the inside kart and the outside kart will go the rear of the lead lap field. If turn marshals report back to the flag man that the outside kart ran/spun off outside edge of the track by his/herself without any help from another kart, he or she will go to the rear.
We established this rule last season due to several cautions coming out of turn 2 due to drivers crowding each other off turn 2 on to the back stretch from the flag stand and the front straight its hard to see it happen that is why we will have turn marshals on the outside of the track coming out of turn 2 watching for this situation to happen.
Same applies to pushing on kart in front of you on the rear bumper and causes them to spin out in corners.
Any foul driving, unnecessary bumping, crowding, chopping, blocking, pushing or un-sportsman like conduct on the course will subject the driver to immediate disqualification, and will get NO WARNING.
11. We have ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FIGHTING AND ARGUING.
12. Must complete all required laps and cross under the checkered flag of the feature race to receive prize money at the end of the night.
No adjustments allowed to the kart when on the track.
