For 2012 Manchester Speedway will be running under a Maxxis only Tire rule, Any compund of tire. Tires rule will be in full efect on the first points race and from there on out and for any Money races.
Track is approx. 850 ft.
in length with moderate to high banking.
Turns are wide

We hope to provide everyone with another great Season of racing providing familys with fun and great racing aciton with kart dirt racing at it finest.
Manchester Speedway is a moderate to high banked 1/6 mile Red clay Oval just short of a 1/5 mile with wide sweeping corners, surface is smooth, very fast, plenty of grip with some of the finest red clay in Tn thats untreated, you can find. (Brick Quality clay). Average lap times close mid 10's. 65+ MPH laps in the stock flathead classes and clone classes.
Season Pit Passes are now available. All season pass proceeds will go toward updating the P.A. sound system and building better bathrooms. Also towards Money races.
Adult Season Pit pass is $260 ea. a savings of $80.00 over the total cost of the season buying a pit pass each night.
Children Season Pit Pass is $210 ea. a savings of $45 over the total cost of the season buying a pit pass each night.
If you choose to purchase a season pass they can be picked up at Ralph's Body Shop. We do accept credit cards if you want to purchase a pass that way. Give us a call and we can get you taken care of, and get your passes/receipt for purchase in the mail on their way to you.
The Limited modified/ outlaw class rules will be, any Briggs Flat head, clone/honda, Briggs animal,or World Formula engines or any 100cc 2cycle engine. May use stock flywheels but must have scatter shields either welded into or pop-riveted/bolted to the fan shroud on all angles to ensure safety in case of flywheel failure Sheet metal scatter shields must be made of at least 16 gauge sheet metal or thicker, ALUMINUM FLYWHEELS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED (on all Limited/outlaw) ESPECIALLY ON MOTORS RUNNING TILLY CARBS , Open exhaust do not have to run a muffler this is the only class.
May run pump/racing gas or methanol only no high performance(NITRO) additives in oil or fuel.

The Rules may be amended to help structure the class better for the racers running the class.

Age 6 and under are free for both spectator/pit passes .
Adult/Child Spectator passes:$5 per person.
Children Pit Pass ages 7-15yrs old: $15 per child.
Adult pit pass: $20 per person.

--$15 Entry Fee for all classes on Regular Race Nights. (100% payback)

Classes, weights and age limits.
Junior Sportsman 1 ages 7 threw 12, - 285lbs- animal/clone/flathead mix- Animals/flatheads will run W.K.A. Horstman .500 blue plate and Clones will run .500 ARC. Purple Restirctor Plate. In the event we have purple plate animals-3hole or flatheads-.425 show they will be allowed to compete in this class utilizing a weight break and only having to weigh in at 265 lbs to compinsate for the power difference.
Junior Sportsman 2- 13-15yrs old-- Briggs motors will use W.K.A. Horstman .575 gold plates _ 315lbs and clones will use Arc. AKRA .550 Blue plate. _ 300lbs.
Briggs Stock Lite 15 and up 325#s Flathead and Animal mix with Animals utilizing the proper restrictor plates.
Briggs Stock Medium 15yrs and up 350#s Flathead and Animal mix with Animals utilizing the proper restrictor plates.
Briggs Stock Heavy 15yrs and up 375#s minimum kart/driver weight, kart by itself maximum weight is 200lbs kart will be weighed by itself if felt needed. Flathead and Animal mix with Animals utilizing the proper restrictor plates.
Briggs Stock Super Heavy 15yrs and up 400#s minimum kart/driver weight driver must weigh 200lbs or more to run this class driver will be weighed if felt needed. Flathead and Animal mix with Animals utilizing the proper restrictor plates.
